The Bunker: Daniel Bell + Chain Reaction Showcase

DJ Spinoza and Derek Plaslaiko are back with their techno-oriented (though, in fact, pretty wide-ranging) ode to electronic rhythms. This month’s party is gonna be another dance-floor rocker: It marks the return of Daniel Bell—a guy who’s been one of the minimal-techno scene’s big guns since long before anyone was calling it minimal techno—on the decks, along with Underground Quality’s Fred P, also known as Black Jazz Consortium. The back room’s action will be of interest for those in tune with the ground-breaking aurals of Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus’s seminal Chain Reaction label, with the imprint’s Scion (the pairing of Substance and René “Vainqueur” Löwe) performing live.
