New Release makes its Bleecker Street debut—and doing so in fine style, with a big chunk of the German label Innervisions’ stable of artists here to play deep and emotive house and techno. Henrik Schwarz, the talented producer whose expansive sound takes on jazz and African sensibilities, performs live, while Âme’s Frank Wiedemann mans the wheels of steel; New Release’s own Eamon Harkin lends top support.
