Há um contraste muito grande entre os videos apresentados pelo Marcelo Tessari, que primam pelo bom gosto, e os que o Sandro Figueiredo apresentou. Deve haver poucas aulas de yoga tao más como a dada pelo Marco Carvalho, e a vozinha dos shivaratri dá vomitos. De resto impecavel!

O Método DeRose está para o Yoga tal como o catolicismo para os ensinamentos de Cristo.

Envergonhar-me-ia de uma escola que tem a necessidade de estar sempre a dizer que é a melhor do mundo; e depois torna-se pequenina ao por fotos em livros, em q alguem pede ao sting para segurar num livro enquanto este dava um autografo e assim se saca uma foto. eu conseguiria o mesmo para o jornal da freguesia, mas isso nao deve encher de orgulho pessoas com um minimo de gosto.

TEMAS DE REFLEXAO (cont): Poema do senhor, ediçoes relógio de água e tambem assirio e alvim. E diga-se que essa preocupação do DeRose para com o leitor (eu diria mais preocupação de demarcação face à concorrencia) deveria conduzi-lo a revoltar-se contra a palavra iodo, que nao tem acento também e em que o O é fechado. It is great to know that this method is available in NYC, I've been traveling around the globe for the last 10 years and so far the classes I had with professors from the DeRose method were the most impressive. Will be great to enjoy those classes in the Central Park every sunday. I participated in his clases at the SoHo studio and Marcelo was very prestative and great at teaching the techniques.

Há mestres e "mestres", livros e "livros, linhas e "linhas", cada um tem a opção de escolher o que melhor lhe convier, há espaço para todos! When someone with a little more study, like this Franco, confront this guys, they reveal how poor is their knowledge. The problem is that in Rede DeRose, 5% of the professors are reasonable/good (naturally with exceptions... some are really good like Rô), the others 95% are just sheep.

Olá Marcos! Eu falei, em tempos, com o meu instrutor, que tenho muito carinho, por isso nao vou revelar nome. A resposta foi algo como: "como diz o Mestre DeRose? Então é como ele diz." Eu respeito esta posição de lealdade, mas a minha pergunta caiu em saco roto. Vi agora o ultimo esclarecimento do Franco que deu a referencia do Monier-Williams... Eu nao tenho esse livro, mas fiquei achando que ele é mais sério do que parece, e q ninguem está a conseguir responder. Mas é a minha opiniao, só isso

Reforço no entanto a ideia que acho que este assunto é de todo pertinente para a matéria em questão. Discute-se a qualidade do produto, a seriedade de uma aula. E estes aspectos estao presentes numa aula, todos eles. Considero assim que seria mais interessante para todos que tal esclarecimento nao fosse feito às escondidas, por e-mail, mas para que todos pudessem ver e esclarecer-se. Pelo que me dá a entender ha quem tenha ficado com duvidas. Seria assim mais vantajoso argumentarem aqui mesmo.

'Is a great method' blablabla. 'derose is the best' blablabla 'we are very serious' blablabla. O que é certo é que este Franco calou-os a todos, e com esta ainda melhor. Este pessoal devia ir todo para um parque ornitológico... nao passam de papagaios.

Saliento que para a questao do acento gráfico no 'O', nao ha como é obvio bibliografia a contestar tal situação, tal como nao ha a dizer que é obrigatório. A nao ser claro, o DeRose. O DeRose é que tem que o provar (ainda nao o fez) porque veio contradizer aquilo que era unanime. Espero assim, que possas entao dar as tais respostas que guardas em segredo após eu te ter dado a bibliografia, caro Reinaldo.

No que diz respeito à polaridade, é muito facil. Não preciso dizer-te um livro. Tens milhoes (literalmente) à disposição. Diz-me tu UM apenas (que nao do derose ou derivados) em que diga que as mulheres sao 'invertidas'. Repara, dou-te uma bela margem! Quanto ao pronam mudrá, a mesma situação. Senão eu digo-te: nenhum dos livros desse milhao falam em pronam mudrá . Se quiseres prova-me o contrário. Quanto à questao do Yoga com acento... ainda acreditas mesmo nisso??? mas se acreditares diz-me.

Disse-te este pelas razoes que bem sabes, mas podes consultar qualquer dicionario de sanscrito. Qualquer gramática de sanscrito, mas posso dar-te um exemplo: sanskrit grammar for students, de arthur macdonell. Consulta o livro dictionary of sanskrit names, do integral yoga institute. Tens uma serie de palavras em que aparece a forma terminada em a - masculina, e depois em baixo a mesma com a acentuado, dizendo que se refere ao feminino. Pois bem, de sanscrito estamos explicados! CONT

este pessoal que recomenda escrever directamente para o site da uni-yoga ou para o blog do derose... será que estao a brincar ou será mesmo a ingenuidade tamanha para acharem que alguem que duvide do derose é ouvido? em vez de perderem tempo a responderem isso podiam responder às questoes levantadas. o problema é que nao ha uma unica pessoa nessa rede imensa que saiba as respostas...

Estou inscrita na Rede DeRose e pratico o método ha algum tempo. Tenho de admitir que pel razao de escrever pela net me sinto mais segura a poder expressar algumas duvidas. O Franco agitou um pouco algumas das minhas duvidas, referentes por exemplo à acentuação da palavra Yôga. Escrevi 'pronam mudrá' no google e nem queria acreditar... de facto nao ha nada. E as polaridades têm uma lógica aterradora... o resto nao sei. Mas gostaria que alguem esclarecesse, a bem do método.

Olá Franco! Tens um sentido de discurso muito bom, e bastante educado até. O que para alguns é visto com a maior das naturalidades, um debate de ideias, para outro é visto como uma afronta. Sempre me disseram que o sentimento de afronta vinha do lado da insegurança, do medo. Nota-se um lado a querer a filosofia (a abertura dos temas) e no outro a religiao (o sentido dogmatico dos mesmos). Acho que o pessoal deve mudar o conceito de 'filosofia' prática para algo mais coerente...

é conduzir a kundaliní para cima, o instrutor nao está a conseguir levar a cabo aquilo a que se propoe. Se utiliza nomes puramente inventados, se engana as pessoas dizendo que yoga tem acento circunflexo, se se engana no genero das palavras... tudo isso me leva a dizer que este método, que este artigo cita, nao tem assim tanta qualidade. Estou por isso dentro do assunto do mesmo. E espero naturalmente espécimes opostos para o meu cruzamento. Um longo, mas prazeroso, maithuna.

Leonardo, está aqui em causa a qualidade de um produto. Por isso, apesar de perceber o ponto de vista, nao vejo que esteja tao distante assim. Depois, os meus temas serao incoerentes quando argumentos contrários os tornarem, e nao por alguem assim os denominar.

As questoes que se levantaram, muitas delas dedutivas e puramente lógicas, outras factuais, nao deixam realmente muitas duvidas. Acima de tudo fazem-nos pensar: DeRose diz que passava imensas horas por dia a estudar; durante anos; Como é possivel lhe ter passado ao lado situações às quais bastam a consulta de um livro básico? Fica a pergunta no ar...

Faço método DeRose ha cerca de dois meses e estou a gostar bastante.. As duvidas do Franco... algumas ainda nao entendo bem porque nao estou dentro dos assuntos. De qualquer maneira ha uma coisa com a qual nao posso deixar de concordar. Não ha de facto grande abertura em alguns assuntos... acho que o dialogo é sempre importante.

Ele explica a diferença entre yoga Yôga ioga ióga através da dança. Autoconhecimento é ter conhecimento de si próprio mas também do mundo que o rodeia. E este sujeito só pode vir de outro planeta!

Posso falar com à vontade porque estive na Rede DeRose. Posso dizer que o método é interessante, mas alguns comentários aqui lançados sao correctos. Há muita intriga ainda, e o pessoal antigo com medo de parecer que o método aborda terapia, nao enaltece alguns perigos reais da prática, nomeadamente ao nivel das articulações e coluna.

Questions to Derose family: Q1) Is the 1st time that Derose ask disciples to "freely" comment articles or is a regular practice ? (casuality x method), I notice that NONE of the disciples talked about ETHICS. Is it etichal ? Fair play ? The auto-proclaimed 'Master' DeRose started to order in his blog to his disciples to put comments here saying excelent things about his own method, to send emails to friends and others so they do the same. then, he tried to erase that post but a user (ricardo 15 jul) has done a print-screen and has the link. It's important to remember this because we have to be careful with this kind of people...

Há uma pretensão sem fundamento nestes individuos. Dizem que este método tem incorporado o Yoga ancestral de Shiva. Essa pretensão, que aliás existe às dezenas espalhadas pelo mundo em outros ramos (podem procurar e constatam), nao tem nenhum tipo de base sólida, a nao ser por pessoas que sejam proibidas de contactar com outras linhagens, como é o caso. Por isso diga-se com clareza: método de derose é mais recente que método pilates. cerca de 50 anos depois.

Experimentei uma vez e nao gostei. Achei que ha um culto excessivo ao Mestre DeRose, com quadros dele em todo o lado, e depois a meio da aula, a fazer exercicios, la vinham referencias a ele completamente fora de contexto. E o pior é que sao destaques sempre pela negativa, nao sabem dizer bem deles proprios sem atacar os outros métodos. Um dos visados constantes nem era o método pilates que muito se fala mas o hatha yoga. Acabei por ir depois para o hatha e achei-o bem mais sério.

Yeah, the method Derose is a lifestyle that has as one of your tools the old Yoga, practiced for over 5000 years for someone who is known to many as Shiva. Joseph Pilates created his form around in 1926 during the post-war, as you can tell which is older if one is contemporary and the other pre-classical, or too pejorative its inconsistency. Practice with Marcelo in NYC and learn a little more of this methodology!

I agree that DeRose Method is possibly more beautiful than Pilates Method but it is absolutely more harmful. I prefer the more antique - Pilates.

Hi Sean, you are welcome for the DeRose Method class! There is nothing wrong asking about mat. You can bring your own mat. I usually use my own, but a bunch of people join the class without mat and they practice direct over the soft grass. Ok, it’s an option! See you there on Sunday 5PM.

Entretanto, vou explicar para voce: palavras terminadas em a sao masculinas, como o shiva, o mantra, o buda. o feminino ele é marcado com i no final como a kundaliní, a shaktí, a parvatí. por isso sempre que tem a no final - masculino. sempre que tem i - feminino. umá e durgá sao mulheres sim, mas a PALAVRA que as designa é masculino. a PALAVRA é diferente da COISA EM SI. o acento em Yôga basta checar o okimatra e voce vê!

I've been taking these classes and I'm loving it! Marcelo is great technically and a very loving person. Classes are really fun and the people are nice. Practicing outdoors is the best, I wonder if we'll go on in December :)

Fico um bocado dividida. Ha coisas que gosto nesta prática mas depois ha atitudes que nao se percebem. Primeiro o DeRose lança a tal orientação no blog, eu vi-a, depois retira-a... denota que está a ou a esconder algo por medo ou que cede a pressoes. tanto uma como outra sao pessimas atitudes considerando o nivel que supostamente terá. depois ver pessoas como a tatiana nuns comentarios atrás, que tenta tambem dizer que nunca houve nada... enfim!

Esta gente é só esquemas... fica dificil saber quando estao a ser espontaneos ou nao. Mesmo pessoalmente... sao apenas forma, sempre a sorrir, sempre muito simpáticos, mas completamente vazios. falta conteudo, à imagem do método.

É que está-se a discutir a seriedade de um método (seriedade que se rompe com os actos dos proprios defensores e lider) e este é apenas uma pergunta, mas digo-vos, podia fazer tambem o milagre da multiplicação, e lançar de repente um batalhao delas. mas fico-me com esta. para ja... :)

Deixei ha dois dias aqui uma pergunta no ar: por que derose é tao meticuloso a escrever YÔga, dizendo que é obrigatório por acento gráfico (nao tenho nada contra o fonetico, que é claro), ensinando os discipulos a repetir como papagaios, e depois esquece-se que mudrá, pújá, yôganidrá sao tudo termos femininos? umá e durgá sao termos femininos certo? a minha resposta é: nao sao marca, nao vendem, nao criam distinçao! acho que vou ficar outra vez sem resposta, mas se alguem quiser arriscar....

DeRose Method practice started some time ago on the recommendation of a friend and the truth is that I loved. The practice seems to me very good and work very seriously and professionally.

Marcelo's classes are very creative and I use learn something new every DeRose Method class.

I´ve tried many types of Yoga and other methods before I did my first DeRose Method practice. Then, I realized this was what I was looking for. There are many types of Yoga. DeRose Method is for some people who is looking for something stronger, complete, very well trained instructors, non mystic focus. It deserves to be tryed at lease to confirm how it works. I´m sure most of the people will love it.

I'm a yoga teacher (not this method) but have taken classes in this method in London. I see nothing sinister about and the teachers were friendly. As a drop-in student I did not find it culty. Yes, it is promoted in rather a sexy BrazilIan fashion in photos (by men AND women) but frankly this is a refreshing change from a lot of the new age pontificating surrounding yoga. In fact it's very inclusive of non-physical yoga culture and tradition (breathing, prayer, discipline) Judge for yourself

my experience with derose method was frustrating... they do not do asanas, they show their bodies. then they don't think by themselves, they just repeat what derose, the master, says, word by word.

as i could see, derose method is very similar to pilates. the difference is that pilates is from the beginning of the last century as i know, and this method is much more recent.

This method is incredible effective since the first time you try it. The contents and the practices are extremely strong, serious and very well supported by huge literature from many different authors. The aim of the method is to improve our quality of live.

DeRose Methode is dangerous in many ways. I will just relate one: health. With this techniques (beautiful for the masses, but for an informed person nothing special compared with contemporary dance), a person will enjoy the first 5/ 10 years, and then begins the problems. Hernias, knees problems, cervical pain, etc. I know a large group of people that has to be operated to knees, hernias in Rede DeRose. They dont tell nothing to the youngest, so they can continue to earn money as 'directors'.Sad

Here we go with our wonderful philosophy. I'm an Instructor of Advanced Yôga DeRose Method for 2 years, and 6 practicing. It's an amazing way of life. Discovering your self, wonderful things that were just inside you, to a deep conection with the universe and its evolutionary purpose; and believe me, no one told you cs moust dont know the way to get "there", only the Masters. And here we have, in Brazil, the great Master DeRose, a great authority of an ancient, trully, full Yôga. Florianópolis.

I spent some time in NYC and I practiced Yôga at Marcelos’Studio and Central Park. DeRose Method is great and Marcelo is a very good and thoughtful instructor. I enjoyed staying in NYC !!!! I strongly recommend it !!!!!
