Don’t know who Andrew H. Green was? That’s okay—despite the fact that he’s been called “the 19th-century Robert Moses,” he’s not particularly well-known. He was the head of the Central Park Commission, and was partially responsible for both the American Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This lecture explores his legacy.
