Description
Director Simon McBurney brings his wide, generous sensibility to Arthur Miller’s 1947 moral melodrama about war profiteering. The result is a remarkable evening at the theater: lucid, bold, modern and emotionally wrenching. John Lithgow, Patrick Wilson and the riveting Dianne Wiest do full justice to the domestic specifics of Miller’s play (alongside a somewhat stiff Katie Holmes).
