Description
This musical prequel to The Wizard of Oz addresses surprisingly complex themes, such as standards of beauty, morality and, believe it or not, opposition to fascism. Thanks to Winnie Holzman’s witty book and Stephen Schwartz’s robust, pop-inflected score, Wicked soars. Currently, the cast features Dee Roscioli as Elphaba and Alli Mauzey as goody-two-shoes Glinda.—DC
This was an excellent play. Good story, great music and sets. fabulous costumes. The pacing of the play could be improved. The first act is kind of slow.
