Description
This laid-back hole-in-the-wall is worth the long hike along the underbelly of the Williamsburg Bridge. Exposed-brick, tin ceilings and big leather couches create an excellent setting for drinking well-priced beer while grooving to reggae, funk and soul music spun by scenester Brooklyn DJs. If you come often enough, the bartender will take your picture and add it to the collage of regulars’ photos that hangs on the wall.

i went to this bar the other night and it's not a dive anymore. still cool, but definitely more upscale.
Southside has revamped it's already cozy, neigborhood atmosphere and has added amazing new cocktails to the menu.
