Description
This larger branch of tiny Bread is more downtown, but more grown-up. The drink menu lists a wide variety of Cosmopolitans, martinis and top-shelf liquors, as well as an impressive selection of wines. (Beer gets only a nod, and nothing’s on tap.) The service is very accommodating: When our Cosmo with a lychee-basil twist didn’t quite work out, the bartender willingly replaced it with a Maker’s. About the only concession to bardom is the TV off to the right. It’s a plasma screen, of course, and it wasn’t playing sports. No, this crowd called for Flashdance.

Mon–Thu 11am–11pm; Fri, Sat 11am–midnight; Sun 11am–10pm.
