Description
The copper ceiling in the Zinc Bar’s campfire-dark back room is said to deflect negative energy. Perhaps. More likely, it’s the dedicated night owls and the live music—samba, salsa, flamenco, Afropop and jazz—that are responsible for the underground bar’s positive karma. Come early for a seat close to the music in the narrow room along the main bar, or ante up the $5 cover and listen to the sounds of the band piped into the booth-and-banquette-lined catacomb in the rear of the cellar
