No-nonsense barkeep Stefan Lutak has been running the show since before Warhol and his gang commandeered the Polish National Home down the street for their “Exploding Plastic Inevitable” multimedia show. Lutak, unmoved by such things, still ensures that trendiness stops at the door. Drinks are equally no-frills: Bottles of Bud go for $3; imports are $3.50. Expect a cross section of East Village types to filter in; the night lasts until Lutak figures everybody’s had enough fun.
