Description
Eight brews on tap (including Guinness and Stella) plus ten by the bottle and live no-cover music seven nights a week have kept this Alphabet City fixture packed for more than ten years. The Lounge claims to have hosted everyone from late punk legend Dee Dee Ramone to prime-time player Rudy Ray Moore (a.k.a. Dolemite). Add a killer jukebox with upwards of 100 choice albums to the mix, and you can figure out the bottom line: The more the neighborhood changes, the more this joint stays the same.
