Oh an one more thing. We actually start serving at 5pm not 5:30. I apologize for any confusion. It seems this blurb about us is about two years old. Also as much as we would like to offer an average wine glass price of $8 this is not true. Our average wine glass price is actually $10. We would hate for you to come in expecting the $8 average and see that we don't and be disappointed. Our by-the-glass list is always changing so at any given time the average price for pour will change and yes we do have an $8 pour every once in a while but the beauty of this place is that the staff is there to help so if you are drinking a $9-$11 glass of wine you will have tasted through a couple or few to find what you are looking for.
Of all the wine bars in N.Y.C. I find this one the most comfortable and hosted by the most knowledgeable staff. It's a must go.
Hello. My name is Keith Beavers and I am one of the owners of In Vino. I just want to add here that the blurb of our little east village joint is a bit out of date. We have had wines from all over Italy for almost two years now and it is as solid as ever. We actually do have Chianti on the the list but only one. Chianti can be good you gotta know what your looking for and we have done all the homework for you. The beef stuffed fried olives are no longer on the menu and we have different crostini and bruschette now. The vibe is as chill as ever and the food is even more solid than it was before. Come on in and check us out and if you need a great bottle of wine to take home we just opened a wine shop called ALPHABET CITY WINE CO. on Ave. C btw 6th and 7th street.
