Description
Past the guard at the speakeasy window to this Maritime Hotel club is a vast, vaulted-ceiling room lined with backlit shoji screens. The place oftenhosts private parties, as well as an occasional celebrity. Signature cocktails, such as the Sakenade (sake, fresh ginger and lemon juice), are the kind of delicious drinks that taste benign but quickly kick your ass—as they should at $12 a pop.
