"You'll avoid locals"? This route is on the two busiest streets for traffic in the area. Take Vernon Blvd instead and run to Roosevelt Island - you'll have interesting views without dealing with intersections. For a longer run get on the Triboro Bridge at 27th St. and head to Randalls Island.
Good job, idiots. Way to NOT include directions for the routes!
