“This is a great exercise to give any bride (or guest) a rocking upper body for that sleeveless dress,” says Kelly Jo Johnson. Hold a three- to five-pound dumbbell in each hand and stand with your shoulders and hips against a wall. Create a “football goalpost” with your arms: elbows bent 90 degrees and in line with your shoulders, palms out and entire arm against the wall, she explains. Exhale and squeeze your arms together in front of you. Reverse the motion and squeeze between your shoulder blades as you return the arms to their original position. “Do this move to get a sexy back and eliminate what I refer to as ‘bra goo’: It’s like muffin top but under the armpits,” she adds. Do two to three sets of 10 reps.
