    The cush life

Believe it or not, these shoes are all as comfy as they are cute. No really: Seek stomped around the office in some for a few days to make sure they’d last from “I do” to dancing.

    Photograph: Roxana Marroquin

    1. Shane & Shawn Carmen stiletto

At first, these towering spike heels scared the bejesus out of me. But after teetering around all day, I must admit that they are awfully cushy. They have a bizarre padding inside that makes it like walking on little mattresses. Now I just have to work on my balance. —Erin Wylie

$230, 238 Mulberry St between Prince and Spring Sts (212-965-1633).

    2. Cole Haan Carma OT Air Sling in red patent

    $275, at colehaan.com.

    3. Frye Rose Woven T-strap sandal

These are so beautifully crafted and special. They felt really comfortable, but the foot bed is pretty thin so toward the end of the day, walking while carrying boxes became quite a challenge. —Ashley Hoffman

    $188, at fryeboots.com.

    4. Re-Mix Vintage Promenade pump

These retro shoes were cute and super comfortable, but limited as far as the type of wedding they can be worn to (they’re not very dressy). The Broadwayish look makes me think I could dance all night in them—if I were the kind of person that danced. —Allison Williams

    $194, at remixvintageshoes.com.

    5. Camper Twins Peacock ankle strap

    $165, at piperlime.com.

    6. Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole Oh Girl slingback

    $195, at piperlime.com.

    7. Timberland Katri T-strap

When I think of Timberland, I think of chunky, rugged hiking boots. But these woven brown leather wedges are just as easy on the eyes as they were on my tootsies. I wasn’t in any hurry to take them off. —Rachel LeWinter

    $90, at piperlime.com.

    8. Glory Chen Sacramento kitten heel

$260, at Glory Chen, 121 Greene St between Houston and Prince Sts (212-677-2938).

    9. Liz Claiborne Shalyn wedge

    $59, at piperlime.com.

    10. Devotte Shirley flat in tuxedo

$335, at Zoe, 68 Washington St between Front and York Sts (718-237-4002).
