Next door to funky jewelry boutique Handmade, this petite spot brims with luxe intimates for ladies desiring a step above chains like Victoria’s Secret. Swoop in for glamorous bras from French company Chantelle ($70–$90), pretty Elle Macpherson corsets ($70–$80), retro-ish pajamas from Belabumbum (from $60) and Eberjey cotton robes ($100–$120). There’s also an on-site custom bra fitter. 251 Smith St between Degraw and Douglass Sts, Boerum Hill (718-694-9337)
Brooklyn Fox
Alexis Schoenberg’s 400-square-foot nook opened last winter in what was formerly home to wine emporium Uva, but its handful of unsung high-end labels can be just as intoxicating. Alluring slips (starting at $88), bras ($35 and up) and thongs (from $62) from Spanish label Andres Sarda are arranged by hue along racks that hang from the cream and antique-papered walls. Aesthetic snobs won’t want to miss Brit designer Shiri Zinn’s vibrators ($84–$150) that look like portable art. 132 North 5th St between Bedford Ave and Berry St, Williamsburg (718-599-1555)
E Lingerie by Enelra
Originally located in the East Village, this venerable depot once outfitted Madonna for ’80s flick Desperately Seeking Susan. But you don’t have to be a material girl to appreciate its mainly French and Italian unmentionables, including culty Cosabella thongs ($16–$33) and adorable Eberjey triangle bras ($27). In a nod to its baby-laden nabe, E Lingerie also offers maternity bras ($39 and up). 140 Fifth Ave between Butler and Degraw Sts, Park Slope (718-399-3252)
Sleep
Owner and stylist Hannah Curtain’s bi-level joint is decked out like a snug Parisian bedroom: Lacy knickers (from $15) are fanned out on tables next to a vase of roses, and candles are tucked away in antique-looking shelves. Peek into the closet for a well-edited range of intimate labels including Princesse Tam Tam, Huit and Eberjey as well as supersoft camisoles and chemises by Only Hearts. Fans of high-thread-count linens should slip downstairs to the basement where a luxe bed is piled high with gorgeous sheets ($85–$260), quilts ($315–$450) and pillowcases ($50–$70) from hip textiles brand Area and boho company John Derian. 110 North 6th St between Berry St and Wythe Ave, Williamsburg (718-384-3211)
