Let's get it on...
Get Naked
Erik Courson, 33; director of retail marketing for Mute Records; Park Slope, Brooklyn
Says Eric: “Aside from being charming and handsome, I’m a lot of fun to be around and have many interests. I pass my time catching shows, hanging out in the park, playing bocce or hunting for treasures at estate sales. I’m always up for new and wacky things and try to take advantage of New York. I also make a great milk shake.”
What Eric wants: “Music is a big part of my life, so it’s a plus when someone shares that same passion. I like people who are adventurous and enjoy going out. I’m also seriously interested in anyone who can point me to some decent places with pinball machines and someone who’s not afraid to sing a song or two at karaoke.”
Eric’s top five favorite albums: Built to Spill’s There’s Nothing Wrong with Love, David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, the Beatles’ Revolver, Tripping Daisy’s Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb and Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger
About his job: “I make sure stores big and small across the country are carrying and promoting our records. And yes, people still do buy those!”
Bonus info: “I used to do a great moonwalk as a kid, so sad about Michael.”

NEXT G. Lucas Crane, 31; artist and member of the band Woods; Ridgewood, Queens
I saw Julia play a set at Pianos and I was really impressed. Her lyrics are thoughtful. She is mature beyond her influences. She can sing the blues while maintaining her signature slow-burning vocal delivery.
