I absolutely LOVE Lindsay Luv! She has the most amazing taste in music and always promotes new up and coming artists. She really is the definition of FABULOUS . Rock on LUV!!!!!

I've known Lindsay for a few years & she knows her shite.She is my bff, DJ partner (yes,ESSENCE,together we still DJ for SOME events)& confidante.Yes, she is to what older,experienced DJs, call: a 'newbie' to the DJ world, but she is trying really hard, in which she admits.She puts her time in the studio for hrs a day & constantly seeks new music/bands.Everyone starts from somewhere,& speaking from experience in DJing for the past 11 yrs myself,i feel LL is definitely NOT an I-POD! Proud of her.

Facts: LL is very cute. LL is an EVOLVING She-J.

Essence, no she is a solo Dj. I remember some invites with her as a duo before xmas (maybe she was starting out) but for a while now it just her.

Ive seen her 'spin' a few times. Question - Does she still partner up with that Asian chic and let her mix the majority of the set while she stands there looking pretty with her headphones on?

DJ Lindsay Luv always has a fun party and i recommend you go check her out and judge for yourself. But isn't this a 'dating column"? Someone told me to read this and I cannot believe the comments--Lindsay is looking to date someone!! Hope it isn't Essence or John. Essence, are you a DJ? You seem to know some things but perhaps you should try some persistence. Just a thought :)

Persistence is admirable in this current climate. Luv has been in the music biz for a few years w/in the indie scene, and her music tastes are impressive. The reason she is a current it girl IS b/c she can reinvent herself and maintain her relevancy. The PR person below is right, all this press is exactly what makes someone an it person--b/c people ARE interested--love em or not. Luv's technical skills are steadily improving--I know this for a fact as I frequent some of these spots.

essence- hmmmm... u mustve seen her quite a bit to know her so well technically. All i know is that my friends own a lounge and my other friend has a studio that she practices at for 6 hours a day every day- i dont think she thinks shes tiesto- shes pretty humble about where shes at when ive talked to her-- but at least shes working hard- maybe u should save ur commentary for the thousands of ipod djs taking the gigs- not those working as hard on their skills as they are on there "badgering"

Interesting. First off, LL 'technically' is a bedroom DJ. Anyone who begs to differ should perhaps a) go and listen to her or b) learn a thing or two about beat matching, EQ levels and so on. However, shes persistent. And that just goes to show that with enough phone calls, facebook badgering and lunch meetings, ANYONE can get a gig in this city.

Personally I love Ella- its finally a nice looking spot in the village with great drinks and hottie owners. Fridays are packed.....I haven't seen Lindsay spin there but I saw her at Plan B and the crowd was dancing all night. She is cute and lively! that is all....

I saw Lindsay throw down at Tribeca Grand this weekend. She never once looks bored like some DJs that are on their blackberrys half the night. A hot girl, that knows good music and actually works when she's behind the booth definitely does it for me. Apparently she did it for the crowd too because despite Tribeca's crappy bright lighting people were still dancing and they packed in a couple hundred people. I had fun

haha Jon every one of Lindsays friends knows exactly who you are...wow, bitterness is not a good look on anyone. I find it hard to believe that her 3000 picture "lie" ... lindsay has never claimed to be heidi klum- she's a dj, but a freakin great one, petitie, big blue eyes and sweet and funny. get over yourself.

saw her at Tribeca Grand last night, and she rocked it with a great song selection and cool vibe. crowd was amazing too--my new favorite weekly party!

wow lighten up. LL is very cool, pretty, master of playlists, and fun to be around. not really friends but friendly. see her all over the city and love her shows. went to empire hotel rooftop--played to a 600+crowd. very cool. tribeca tonoght.

So let's settle this: Lindsay is definitely cute and I just checked out her myspace--NO ONE can pose "good angles" for all those pics! I agree with Jeremy's guess. So John, did Luv dump you? Sound like you lost out, b/c no argument that this is one really hot girl. I d/n know her personally, but those who do say she's great and fun to be around. Katie, Ella is definitely new to the scene, but I really like it. It has style and great sound, and any of the Boyd bros. clubs are very cool.

lindsay luv only looks cute in photos. In real life she is not that hot. She knows how to work her best angle in pics, but you cant hide in real life. Her music taste is alright, not horrible, but no superstar. And with all of you saying she is so sweet.. i beg to differ. .

so i just as looking at luvs myspace page after a crazzzee long nite and followed her here. only reason a room gets cleared is bc luv is off the decks--she brings the people. period.

BTW, LLUv has only been doing this for a short while, and she already has mad skills. Luv clear a room??? Hardly!! I have seen her rock it at both Ella and Tribeca Grand. Lindsay IS the party and her playlist is nothing short of phenominal. I go to see her anywhere anytime!

no offense but lindsay luv is kind of a bad DJ. She usually clears a room or djs early in the night when there are the least amount of customers. She's a sweet girl though, sooo i guess thats why she gets booked. And shes cute.

LINDSAY IS not only super hot but shes HILARIOUS and knows great music! ive had the pleasure of knowing her for years and if i wasnt such a wimp i wouldve already asked her out hah...guess i have to feed her :)
