Kyoto Smith Street’s new kid on the block is an outpost of a sushi joint by the same name in Sheepshead Bay. 8th St Wine Cellar Longtime Union Square Cafe bartenders Michael Lagnese and Jonny Cohen have struck out on their own with this 42-seat wine bar. Black Mountain Wine House Smith Street restaurateur Jim Mamary’s newest spot is a cozy wine bar and front garden on a quiet corner in Carroll Gardens.
