Best cheap eats in New York City
Everything under $10!
I love Larder. And while some of their items are pricey, others are not. At $7, their yummy almond butter is cheaper than brands you find at the grocery store up the street (as high as $13!). Plus, they have the best roast chicken and salami. I would gladly pay an extra dollar for their premium, often local, foods. Larder was a much needed addition to the hood!
When did $9 for a pint of sorbet become cheap? Bklyn Larder is NOT a cheap eats destination. A crumb of cheese is also $9. Sure it's tasty, but cheap it is not.
