2009 Air Sex Championships
On June 12, aspiring Air Sex champs descended on Highline Ballroom, wielding swords and thongs (and, in one female contestant's case, what appeared to be a belt sander). The winner? Brian Arya, a.k.a. Usher (third from last photo above), the only contestant to apply an air condom and solicit an air prostitute.

Not a belt sander (notice the lack of a belt?). It's an angle grinder - used by metal/iron-workers to do rough cuts, grind down burrs and welds; and to do some rough shaping of metal.
