Great Expectation beautifully executed! I've visited this HighLine Park with my friends Cloud & Zack ;)...and was taken by it all. I don't agree with joe post on wed. june 24 @ 10:30...The HighLine Park is a man made garden landscape which will add greenery and nature & oxygen to the city. Future architectural buliding complex will give the city a balance: a mesh of urbanization & ruralization gives contrast & synergy of beauty/life/technical mobility and natural perservation.

I'm elated to see the High Line elevated park built. It's a very good emulation of Europe's Skinniest Park: Paris's 2 mile long elevated promenade plante park which is a narrow garden walk once used for train tracks now cuts thru lots of modern condos & gives a fun peek into day to day lives of parisian. My wonderful friend mentioned and helped funded the HighLine Park to make it a reality. 'Hooray' to my friend' to Mike Bloomberg & Ed Norton & to all who contributed to this amazing park.

There are SO many things to love about NYC. This is one incredible addition. The gardens, the layout, the views, the diversity, the creativity. There is nothing fake or pretentious about the high line. Kudos to the people who came up with the idea the architects and designers. This is a living work of art. If you can get a chaise lounge just watch the people interact with each other. This place rocks!. I will be back again and again.

My concern is that there is no restrictions on the amount of building that can go on around the highline. If there is no preservation on the surrounding air space future building complexes will capitalize on the highline but deminish its grandure
