Oh, so you’re practically blinded from all the tryptophan circulating in your blood? And you sort of hate your family after spending all day with them? Us, too. Shake it off and join us at 92YTribeca’s Double Feature: Clueless and Mallrats (200 Hudson St between Canal and Desbrosses Sts, 212-601-1000; Fri, Sat, 7pm; $15, includes one beer). What do they have in common? A number of scenes were shot in America’s pride: shopping malls. Instead of dragging your ass through one with the rest of the Black Friday vultures, just watch overprivileged yet witty teenagers do it for you! (Yeah, that was way harsh.)
We’re still sweaty-palmed over how weird-hot Zachary Quinto was as Spock in the new Star Trek. That being said, if that’s what your Trekkie knowledge is limited to, you may want to expose yourself to a bit of history. The Rubin Museum presents CabaretCinema with Star Trek: “The Enemy Within” (150 W 17th St at Seventh Ave, 212-620-5000; 8pm, $7 drink minimum), a 1966 episode of the original series in which Kirk is split into two personae. First, tour the “Red Book of C.G. Jung: Creation of a New Cosmology” exhibit, which ties in to the screening.
