“When I present the idea that its not the aggressive anal/choking/cum splattering that makes porn unethical or unfeminist, but the conditions under which the performers are doing said acts, people say...‘Its impossible to know what the working conditions are.’ It isn’t impossible....Just as people research textile factory conditions and then put pressure on corporations—the same could happen with porn.” wakingvixen.com
june isn't a sex blogger
Melinda & Sam, I think your comments are extremely dim-witted. Basically you both are ASSES for not bothering to read their blogs to find out how interesting and dynamic these proud and strong women are. I commend them for gathering together to be apart of this calendar and wish that you'd keep your stupid comments to yourself. As mothers everywhere used to say, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".
This is a fund raiser for Sex Work Awareness (http://www.sexwork101.com/) which plans to use the money to organize workshops for sex workers helping them make their own media and influence mass media representations of their work.
Please get Audacia Ray's URL correct: it's http://www.wakingvixen.com. Sheesh!
