Mocking Lyme disease/Under Our Skin? Ignorance, ironically is why this film is so urgent. Cousin to syphilis, Lyme destroys lives, sometimes kills. Medical establishment in denial. Patients abandoned, doctors persecuted. Science distorted. Profits over lives. Patients disabled yet “cured,” live in a Kafkaesque nightmare.
