Well, we were going to have certain drugstore staffers be super-extra friendly on TONY Fix-It Day, by doubling their salary via official channels. But (surprise!) the company never returned our calls. So we went ahead and did it anyway: At four key locations—we can’t reveal which ones, for fear of people getting fired—look for the cashiers to greet you with prompt service and an actual—come on, you can do it!—smile.
