TaboonTaboon (773 Tenth Ave at 52nd St, 212-713-0271) serves authentic Middle Eastern meze such as zucchini cake, zesty hummus and Moroccan cigars (those are sweetbreads). Just don’t overdo it on the rosemary-and-sage-flecked table bread.

FusionPrimo cocktails, a bouncy soundtrack and a sweet, low-key patio area make classy storefront bar Fusion (818 Tenth Ave between 54th and 55th Sts, 212-397-1133) the perfect spot post–Jarvis Cocker.
