BEFORE THE SHOW
Taïm Falafel & Smoothie Bar (222 Waverly Pl between Seventh Ave South and 11th St, 212-691-1287) serves exactly what it promises: three kinds of falafel, several unusual smoothies and fries with a rich saffron aioli.
AFTER THE SHOW
Just because the concert’s over doesn’t mean the music has to stop. Order a beer or a Red Bull at Fat Cat (75 Christopher between Seventh Ave South and Bleecker St, 212-675-6056) and then use your newfound energy to play Ping-Pong, foosball, checkers or chess while waiting for the nightly after-midnight jazz session.
