(WEST) Walk to the water for a drink or a meal at the Boat Basin Café (W 79th St at the Hudson River, 212-496-5542). If that’s too much outdoorsiness for a city person like you, try the grass-free Arte Café (106 W 73rd St between Columbus and Amsterdam Aves, 212-501-7014) for an unpretentious pasta dish.

AFTER THE SHOW

(EAST) If the crowds have left you in need of some dignified comfort, lean back at the Carlyle Hotel bar, Bemelmans (35 E 76th St at Madison Ave, 212-744-1600). Wanna prolong the party instead?
