    The horny issue

    Musée d’Horné

To kick off our second annual Horny issue, we dared five local artists to create works that’d really turn us on, and then asked seven NYC sexperts to gauge the pieces’ effectiveness. Scandalous!

“We’ve all been in that situation—when you first come to New York and you’re meeting new people, and the lines haven’t necessarily been drawn between friends, people you have crushes on and people you sleep with,” says Sepuya. “It all starts to blur, and that’s sexy. BFFs are superhot, and Layard and Jonathan here are besties: They lived together and get naked together. I loved how silly and comfortable they were with each other. There’s something so exciting about not hitting people over the head with hot, shocking sex scenes.”

Pet says: “This is the hands-down winner for me. It’s sexy without being over-the-top. It’s androgynous, homoerotic and a total turn-on. It evokes a happy, playful, uplifting image of a couple who—even if they are just models—obviously had a great time during the shoot. If they are a real couple, they must have a wonderful relationship. This is a first-rate erotic work!”

Charlie says: “More interesting light and exposure would make the image feel less sterile. It’s a great moment, but great moments aren’t hard to find. Great light is.”

Legs says: “Would someone please give the hipster on the right a cheeseburger? I can’t help but be turned off by his bony sacrum. The blond guy looks amused by his counterpart, though. Maybe the length of his obscured dick makes up for the skeletal protrusions.”

Billy says: “Okay, I have three questions: As a panelist, how many times will I be allowed to fuck that guy’s ass? Is that other guy one of the Foo Fighters? And will Abercrombie be offering that top in baby blue?”

Wow. This shot REALLY turned me on. I sometimes get off at this stop too. I will be keeping an eye out for girls like this and stop fidgeting with my ipod nano. LOL
