Best gastropub with the most unfortunate name
Spitzer’s Corner
Despite sharing a moniker with the good-times ex-governor, this gastropub doesn’t need a formal investigation to merit recognition. With long communal tables and walls constructed from wooden pickle barrels, Spitzer’s embraces rusticity, indie rock and tongue-wowing tipples. The bar dispenses more than 40 drafts, including atypical finds such as fragrant Bear Republic Racer 5 and Southern Tier’s warmly hued hops monster, Unearthly pale ale. Want sustenance? Spitzer’s offers duck-fat potato cakes and sweetbread po’ boys. Have one. Then another beer. And another. It’s the sort of irresponsible behavior Spitzer would (secretly) approve of.

I just moved from New York City to Denver... if there is one place that I will miss the most about NYC, it'd be Florent, hands down....
I'm so happy Omido was recognized. They are one of the best restaurants in New York...not just Time Square.
