The Julia cover, behind the scenes

View all the photos that didn't quite make the cut, plus a video that tells you all you need to know about the Allison mystique.

You may well have seen Julia's famous bikini horse riding photo before. Perhaps you've even caught her odd cajoling-traffic-cop-while-in-cheerleading-outfit video. But only here can you find the exclusive recordings from her first ever magazine cover shoot (we're guessing it won't be her last).

Click here for a gallery of photo outtakes from the shoot. (Steve Jobs, if you're reading, she really wanted to pose with her iPhone.) Below is a video from the occasion, where you can see Julia mug for the camera and speak with her carefully selected style and makeup team. And it's all produced with our girl's utterly inimitable flair.

We suggest you pause the video player if you want to view photos.

Great job with the video! Way to go Julia, you looked fantastic. The person I really want to meet, however, is the hair and makeup girl (Anna?)...she is beautiful!! She seems really fun and is obviously quite talented...please give her my email!!
