Greg Climer
Age: 28
Backstory: After working on Broadway (Climer once helped dress the casts of Wicked and Taboo), this Florida transplant became a man of the cloth for Seventh Avenue in 2004, freelancing as a pattern maker for John Bartlett, Peter Som and Daryl K. Fittingly, playing with a bolt of muslin led Climer to create singular designs like a cashmere-leather hoodie-scarf hybrid, and to launch his label Godspeed the Well-Dressed Man last year. Despite a recent name change (his line is now called Greg Climer), the fall collection still offers elegantly tailored, locally produced menswear distinguished by subtly quirky details, including a shirt with curved seams that evoke a tank top, and hidden tuxedo stripes on a pair of trousers.
