No-fee apartment!

You know how, when people score a good deal on an apartment, it’s always through “a friend of a friend” or because they “know a guy”? Well, we made some friends and met a guy. Time Out New York has paired with Mark David & Company to waive the broker’s fee (equal to one month’s rent) on a one-bedroom Manhattan apartment of your choosing, available in June—a rental value of up to $2,500, depending on your selection. Subject to availability, neighborhoods may include the Upper East Side, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, Chelsea, and Midtown East and West.

Only one person can win. To enter, go to youtube.com and post a video of three minutes or less explaining why you deserve a new apartment (on YouTube, be sure to tag the clip “TONY No-Fee Apartment”). Our deadline for video submissions is May 15. A team of TONY editors will judge the entries, selecting the most worthy and creative. The winner will then get to work with Mark David & Company to search for a place, and we’ll announce it on the TONY blog as soon as that person is happily matched with new digs. (All matches pending landlord approval.)
