Some of these categories are outright silly and appear to be made up for particular restaurants the critics want to showcase. This is not really a true awards list to be taken seriously. Where is "Best burgers" or "best Chinese" or "Best Italian/pasta" - categories diners truely care about? I say do a serious awards because that's what readers want rather than try to be funny and interesting in journalism but ignoring readers desires.
