Best dining on a budget: Simon Sips
Simon Mammon’s airy coffeeshop and wine bar has in no time established itself as an oasis for discerning, cash-strapped local diners. The average price on chef Ronna Welsh’s menu of sandwiches, small plates and house-baked pastries hovers at $6 (make a $12 meal of kabocha squash soup and a jasmine lemon cake).
