Sometimes the idea for a project hooks you before you’ve even see it. In Adult Swim’s live-action series Delocated, a family in the Witness Protection Program agrees to move to New York for a reality show—in which they must wear ski masks. Fortunately the execution is as strong as the setup. It’s created by former Conan writer Jon Glaser (whom we’ve adored since we first saw his Web series about a man with doll hands instead of real ones). Glaser also plays the immunized criminal Dad, an overbearing jerk with no dearth of inappropriate jokes. Delocated is a situational comedy, choosing only to scratch the surface of America’s obsession with fame. But you didn’t expect a think piece from Tiny Hands, either.
