Berlin DJs? Who needs ’em? London spinners? A bunch of charlatans! New York City has long been the home of some of the world’s best record wranglers, and this week TONY’s Clubs section is launching a new DJ-mix series focusing on the home team. First up: Citizen Kane, proprietor of the excellent Disques Sinthomme label and deck doyen of APT’s Deep End affair, as well as (with Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani) the Strobe Lodge and Adult Section soirees. Kane’s been out of commission for a few months—the result of a nasty incident involving his bike and a semi—but he’ll be back on the decks at the Deep End on Saturday 14.
