Total foodies (duh), Eat Out arranged a table loaded with hearty grub—a caramelized onion tart, mofongo with bacon, beans, tortilla espanolas and (admittedly delicious) ice cream sandwiches—and a beer cocktail made with hot sauce and lime that could have rivaled any full-course menu. Only adding a few simple candle luminaries, it was hard to tell if their table was for the December holidays or for Cinco de Mayo. While it’s possible Eat Out stretched their dollars the furthest, this story is running in the Seek section and therefore they get major points deducted for the lack of holiday cheer.
