Team Seek

As style afficionados, we chose aesthetics over nibbles—offering a sleek, decorative table, light fare and wine. Garbage bags were turned into a fringed tablecloth, coffee filters became festive ornaments, and recycled cans and bottles served as vases, putting Susie Homemakers everywhere to shame. In keeping with the fancy theme (and to make things easier), we served finger foods including delicious cheese-and walnut-covered grapes, mini turkey sandwiches, and chocolate-dipped strawberries and bananas, and we created a DIY veggie-wrap station. It’s fair to say Seek’s party was more festive than tasty—but we’re watching our figures anyway.
